1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the fasteners.

4.  Pull the energy-absorbing form in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure while detaching the guides.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
