Purpose
• A rear seat back frame has been adopted to prevent luggage intrusion from the trunk compartment into the cabin.
• The following have been adopted to mediate injury to a child during a collision or emergency braking.

― ISO FIX anchors which enable easy/secure fixing of ISO FIX-applicable child-restraint seats
― Top tether anchors which enable fixing of child-restraint seats with tether strap
• A remote handle lever has been adopted which can unlock the seat back from the trunk side. (4SD)
Function
• ISO FIX anchors enable fixing of the child-restraint seats using a stick-like metallic object.
• Top tether anchors enable fixing of the child-restraint seats by hooking the hooks of the top tether straps.
Construction/Operation
• The rigidity of the rear seat back frame and the support point has been improved to prevent luggage intrusion from the trunk compartment into the cabin during a collision or emergency braking.
• ISO FIX anchors and top tether anchors are located at the positions shown in the figure.
• When the remote handle lever knob is pulled (1), the wire will be pulled (2) and the latch will be disconnected to unlock the rear seat backs. (3)
