Warning

•  Always wear gloves when using a utility knife. Using a utility knife with bare hands can cause injury.

1.  Remove the trunk lid trim. (See TRUNK LID TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Remove the bolts.

3.  Affix the protective tape to the position shown in the figure to prevent scratches and damage.

Caution

•  When peeling off the double-sided adhesive tape, do not damage the vehicle paint.

4.  Peeling off the double-sided adhesive tape shown in the figure using a utility knife.

5.  Press the clip tabs in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure and detach the clip tabs from the trunk lid.

6.  Insert the remover tool in the position shown in the figure.

7.  Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clip.

8.  Remove the rear spoiler from the trunk lid.
