•  Visibility during poor weather conditions such as rain and fog has been improved by the front fog lights emitting light over a wider angle than the light from the headlights. In addition, the visibility of the vehicle by on-coming vehicles, pedestrians, and other people has been improved.

•  When the BCM receives the front fog light signal sent via CAN communication from the start stop unit, it turns the front fog lights on.

•  The front fog lights are positioned in the front bumper.

•  Round-type front fog lights have been adopted.

•  LED type front fog lights have been adopted.

1.  When the light switch is moved to the TNS (parking lights) or HEAD position and the fog light switch is moved to the F.FOG position with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on), the start stop unit detects (1) a front fog light signal.

2.  The start stop unit sends (2) the front fog light signal to the BCM via CAN communication.

3.  When the BCM receives the front fog light signal, it turns the front fog light relay on (3).

4.  When the front fog light relay turns on, the front fog light turns on (4).
