REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD INSPECTION

Rear Combination Light (Bulb Type)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the rear combination light. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Partially peel back the trunk side trim. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the rear combination light short-cord. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Verify that the continuity between the rear combination light short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the rear turn light bulb, the brake light/taillight bulb or the rear combination light short-cord. (See REAR TURN LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) Rear Combination Light (LED Type)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the rear combination light. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Partially peel back the trunk side trim. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the rear combination light short-cord. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Verify that the continuity between the rear combination light short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the rear turn light bulb or the rear combination light short-cord. (See REAR TURN LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
