LICENSE PLATE LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear splash shield (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk folor cover (with Trunk floor cover) (See TRUNK FLOOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Rear bumper stay (See REAR BUMPER STAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See REAR BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connectors.

4.  While pressing the clip A tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip A in the direction of arrow (2) to remove it from the rear bumper.

5.  While pulling the clip B tabs in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull clip B in the direction of arrow (2) and remove it from the rear bumper.

6.  While pressing the clip C tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip C in the direction of arrow (2) to remove it.

7.  Remove the tape.

8.  Remove the license plate light short-cord.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
