BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the air cleaner, the air hose, and the fresh-air duct assembly. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].) (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Disconnect the back-up light switch connector. (See BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [F65M-R].) (See BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [F66M-R].)

4.  Verify that the continuity between the back-up light switch terminals is as indicated in the table.
