Purpose, Function
• The GPS antenna receives signals sent from GPS satellites and sends them to the connectivity master unit.
Note
• GPS (Global Positioning System) was developed by the Pentagon (U.S.A.) as an object locating system using satellites. The GPS antenna receives signals from several of the satellites orbiting at an altitude of approx. 21,000 km to detect the current position of the vehicle.
