Installation Procedure

4SD

1.  When installing new parts, measure and adjust the body as necessary to conform with standard dimensions.

2.  Drill holes for the plug welding before installing the new parts.

3.  After temporarily installing new parts, make sure the related parts fit properly.

4.  While lowering the rear end panel, place it inside the cabin in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and then move it in the direction of arrow (2).

5.  Plug weld the 2 locations indicated by (A) from room side shown in the figure.

6.  Plug weld the 37 locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure.

7.  After repairing the ends of the rear fender panel (lower), plug weld the 14 locations in area C shown in the figure and install the rear end panel.

8.  Plug weld the 18 locations indicated by (D) shown in the figure, then install the trunk floor reinforcement.

5.  Plug weld the 37 locations indicated by (A) shown in the figure.

6.  Plug weld the 4 locations indicated by (B) from the room side shown in the figure.

7.  Arc weld (spot weld) the 8 locations indicated by (C) from the room side shown in the figure.

8.  After repairing the ends of the rear fender panel (lower), plug weld the 24 locations indicated by (D) shown in the figure and install the rear end panel.

9.  Plug weld the 8 locations indicated by (E) shown in the figure, then install the trunk floor reinforcement.
