Operation

• The PCM operates cooling fan relays No.1 and No.2 as indicated in the table below.

• When all of the following conditions are met.
- Engine coolant temperature is less than 100°C {212°F}
- Vehicle speed is less than 100 km/h {62 mph}
- A/C off
• All of the following conditions are met
- Engine coolant temperature is less than 100°C {212°F}
- Vehicle speed is 100 km/h {62 mph} or more
Low-speed rotation
ON
OFF
• Engine coolant temperature is 100°C {212°F} or more and less than 108°C {226°F}
• When all of the following conditions are met.
- Engine coolant temperature is less than 100°C {212°F}
- Vehicle speed is less than 100 km/h {62 mph}
- A/C on (refrigerant pressure switch (middle) off)
HIgh-speed rotation
ON
ON
• Engine coolant temperature less than 108°C {227°F} or more
• During test mode when accelerator pedal is depressed.
