Wheel And Tire Installation

1. When installing a wheel, tighten the wheel nuts in opposing diagonal order to the following torque.

Tightening torque
88.2-117.6 N·m {9.00-11.99 kgf·m, 65.06-86.73 ft·lbf}

Brake Lines Disconnection/Connection

Caution
• Brake fluid will damage painted surfaces. Be careful not to get any on painted surface. If brake fluid gets on painted surfaces, wipe it off immediately.

1. Tighten the brake pipe flare nut using the SST (49 0259 770B) or any commercially available flare nut wrench.

2. After installing the brake lines, inspect the following.

• If there is any malfunction, adjust the necessary part.
- Brake fluid level inspection
- Brake fluid leakage inspection
- Air bleeding (See AIR BLEEDING.)

Suspension Links Removal/Installation

Note
• To prevent the bushings from being twisted or pinched, perform the procedures with no passengers or luggage aboard the vehicle.

1. For the joint section with rubber bushings, raise the vehicle using a lift, and then temporarily tighten the installation bolts and nuts. After the vehicle has been lowered to the ground, tighten them to the specified torque.
