NO.27 HOLD INDICATOR LIGHT DOES NOT ILLUMINATE WHEN HOLD SWITCH IS TURNED TO ON (4AT) [FN4A-EL]


27	HOLD indicator light does not illuminate when HOLD switch is turned to ON (4AT)
DESCRIPTION	• HOLD indicator light in dashboard does not illuminate when HOLD switch is turned on and IG SW at ON.
POSSIBLE CAUSE	• HOLD switch, HOLD indicator light or related wiring harness malfunction.


STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	Are other indicator lights illuminated with ignition switch ON?	Yes	Go to next step.
1		No	Inspect meter fuse.
2	Inspect TCS PID value using WDS or equivalent. Is TCS PID value okay?	Yes	Inspect instrument cluster.
2		No	Inspect HOLD switch is okay, inspect for continuity between HOLD switch and PCM terminal 1N.
3	• Verify test results. - If okay, return to diagnostic index to service any additional symptoms. - If malfunction remains, inspect related Service informations and perform repair or diagnosis. • If vehicle not repaired, trouble shooting completed. • If vehicle not repaired or additional diagnostic information not available, replace PCM.
