Troubleshooting hints • Cassette tape is malfunctioning • Cassette tape player is malfunctioning Note • Reverse playback is when the cassette tape is played in the opposite direction of the current playback direction.

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	• Replace with a cassette tape known to be good. • Is the sound normal?	Yes	The cassette tape player is normal. Explain to the customer that the cassette tape is malfunctioning.
1		No	Replace the cassette tape player.
