EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo]

Note

•  If the EGR valve is replaced, complete the “EGR VALVE ADAPTIVE VALUE RESET” (See EGR VALVE ADAPTIVE VALUE RESET [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)

2.  Remove the engine cover.

3.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)

4.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

1	EGR valve connector
2	EGR pipe
3	EGR cooler
4	EGR valve

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
