ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)

2.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)

3.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)

4.  Disconnect ECT sensor connector.

5.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

2	O-ring
3	ECT sensor

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
