• When the selector lever is in the P position, the cable end is positioned as shown in the figure. In this condition, the cable end does not restrict the cam rotation and the ignition switch can be turned to the LOCK position.
• When the selector lever is not in the P position, the cable end is positioned as shown in the figure. In this condition, the cable end restricts the cam rotation so the ignition switch cannot be turned to the LOCK position.
