Detection Condition

Note

•  If the advanced key has never been programmed, DTC B102B:51 cannot be detected even if the advanced key is cleared.

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY NUMBER OF PROGRAMMED ADVANCED KEYS •  Using the M-MDS, perform the PID/data monitor inspection and verify the number of programmed advanced keys. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) ―  NUMCARD (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Is there a programmed advanced key?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	•  Program the advanced key. (See ADVANCED KEY ID CODE REGISTRATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Go to the next step.
2	Verify DTCs •  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Is DTC B102B:51 displayed?	Yes	Replace the keyless control module. (See KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
