VERIFY NUMBER OF PROGRAMMED KEYS
• Using the M-MDS, perform the PID/data monitor inspection and verify the programmed keys.
• Are two or more keys programmed?

Yes
|
• Replace the instrument cluster and program the immobilizer system-related parts.
• Go to Step 3.
|
No
|
• Program an additional key referring to the immobilizer system-related parts programming.
• Go to the next step.
|

|
VERIFY DTCs
• Using the programmed key, turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
• Clear DTCs using the M-MDS.
• Verify DTCs using the M-MDS.
• Are DTCs output again?

Yes
|
• Replace the instrument cluster and program the immobilizer system-related parts.
• Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Go to Step 4.
|

VERIFY AFTER REPAIR
• Clear DTCs using the M-MDS.
• Verify DTCs using the M-MDS.
• Are DTCs output again?

Yes
|
Inspect DTC P1260:00. (See DTC P1260:00 [ZJ, ZY].)

No
|
Go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
• Verify if other DTCs are displayed.
• Are any other DTCs output?

Yes
|
Perform the corresponding DTC inspection.
|
No
|
DTC troubleshooting completed.
