On-board Diagnostic Function


Malfunction Detection Function

•  Detects overall malfunctions in the advanced keyless entry system-related parts.


Display Function

•  If any malfunction is detected, the keyless warning light (red) in the instrument cluster illuminates to inform the driver of a system malfunction.


Memory Function

•  Stores malfunctions detected by the malfunction detection function as DTCs in the keyless control module. The stored DTCs are not cleared even if the ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position or the negative battery cable is disconnected.
