•  The engine coolant temperature signal from the PCM via CAN communication is input to the microcomputer in the instrument cluster. The microcomputer outputs a control signal to the low engine coolant temperature indicator light/high engine coolant temperature warning light based on the engine coolant temperature signal. The flash/illumination/lights off conditions are as follows:
―  The low engine coolant temperature indicator light illuminates when the engine coolant temperature decreases to 50°C {122°F} or less, and turns off when the engine coolant temperature is 55°C {131°F} or more.
―  The high engine coolant temperature warning light flashes when the engine coolant temperature increases to 120°C {248°F} or more, and turns off when the engine coolant temperature is 117°C {243°F} or less.
―  The high engine coolant temperature warning light illuminates when the engine coolant temperature increases to 125°C {257°F} or more, and flashes when the engine coolant temperature is 122°C {252°F} or less.
