Installation Procedure

1.  When installing new parts, measure and adjust the body as necessary to conform with standard dimensions.

2.  Cut-and-join area (A) on new part.

3.  Drill holes for the plug welding before installing the new parts.

4.  Apply spot sealer to the areas where both the overlapping ends of the new and existing parts will be welded. Adhere the sections to be welded, and fillet weld along both seams.

Note

•  Create a flange with flanging tool where new and existing parts are joined.

5.  Apply body sealer to the joints of old and new parts for waterproofing and rust protection.

6.  Plug weld the 101 locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure.

7.  Plug weld the 4 locations indicated by (C) shown in the figure.

•  Plug weld the 4 locations indicated by (C) from the rear wheel housing.
