Purpose of Adoption

•  For improved fuel economy, a new engine oil with low viscosity (OW-20) is used with the SKYACTIV-D 1.5 engines.

Service Point

•  The new oil (OW-20) cannot be used in SKYACTIV-D 2.2.

•  A high viscosity index oil that ensures kinetic viscosity temperature at high temperatures and lowers the kinetic viscosity temperature at low temperatures is used.
