Purpose/Function

•  The Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) indicator light (red)/Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) warning light (amber), built into the instrument cluster, informs the driver of the following vehicle conditions:
―  Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) indicator light (red)
•  Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) is operating (brake control (SCBS brake) is operating).
―  Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) warning light (amber)
•  Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) system malfunction.

Construction/Operation

•  When the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) is non-operational, operational, and malfunctioning, the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) indicator light (red)/Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) warning light (amber) operates according to the following table.
Note
•  For vehicle with center display, a warning message in the center display is displayed with the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) warning light (amber) turned on or flashed. For the message content and verification method, refer to the CENTER DISPLAY. (See CENTER DISPLAY [WITH CENTER DISPLAY].)
•  For vehicle with active driving display, when the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) system operates, the user is notified by the flashing the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) indicator light (red) and the active driving display.
•  For vehicle with multi-information display, when the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) system operates, the user is notified by the flashing the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) indicator light (red) and the multi-information display.
