SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR INSPECTION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER].)

4.  Using a voltmeter, connect the positive (+) lead to solar radiation sensor terminal B and the negative (-) lead to terminal A, and then measure the voltage when shining an incandescent light onto the solar radiation sensor.

Note

•  When shining light onto the solar radiation sensor, the voltage may not be correctly measured using a fluorescent or LED light.

•  If the voltage is 0 V, replace the solar radiation sensor. (See SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER])
