FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Front scuff plate (LH) (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Front side trim (LH) (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Fuel-filler lid opener lever (See FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER AND LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Rear scuff plate (LH) (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  B-pillar lower trim (LH) (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Lower anchor installation bolts on the front seat belt (LH) (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(8)  Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(9)  Rear package tray (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(10)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(11)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(12)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(13)  Trunk side trim (LH) (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Open the fuel-filler lid opener box and disconnect the fuel-filler lid opener from the fuel-filler lid opener box.

4.  While pressing the tabs in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press it in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the tabs from the fuel-filler lid opener box.

5.  Remove the fuel-filler lid opener box.

6.  Remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable from the clips.

7.  Peel back the floor mat and remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable from the clip shown in the figure.

8.  Peel back the floor mat and remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable from the clip shown in the figure.

9.  Pull out the fuel-filler lid opener cable out from the crossmember and the seat brackets.

10.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

(5)  B-pillar lower trim (LH) (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Lower anchor installation bolts on the front seat belt (LH) (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(8)  Tire house trim (LH) (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(9)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(10)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(11)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(12)  Trunk side trim (LH) (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(13)  Fuel-filler lid opener (See FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER AND LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable from the clips A, B, and C.

4.  Peel back the floor mat and remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable from the clip shown in the figure.

5.  Peel back the floor mat and remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable from the clip shown in the figure.

6.  Pull out the fuel-filler lid opener cable out from the crossmember and the seat brackets.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

3.  Open the fuel-filler lid opener box and disconnect the fuel-filler lid opener from the fuel-filler lid opener box.

5.  Remove the fuel-filler lid opener box.

6.  Remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable from the clips.

7.  Peel back the floor mat and remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable from the clips shown in the figure.

9.  Pull out the fuel-filler lid opener cable out from the crossmember and the seat brackets.

(8)  Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Peel back the floor mat and remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable from the clip shown in the figure.

6.  Pull out the fuel-filler lid opener cable out from the crossmember and the seat brackets.
