•  The driver can optionally choose to switch the lane departure warning system (LDWS) to operational or non-operational.

•  The LDWS switch sends a switch operation signal to the instrument cluster.

•  The LDWS switch is built into the cluster switch.

•  Each switch of the cluster switch has a resistance.

1.  When the LDWS switch is operated, a switch operation signal is sent to the instrument cluster (1).

2.  Based on the switch operation signal (voltage value), the instrument cluster sends the LDWS switch operation signal (2) to the forward sensing camera (FSC) via CAN communication.

3.  When the forward sensing camera (FSC) receives the LDWS switch operation signal from the instrument cluster, it switches the lane departure warning system (LDWS) on/off. (3)
