Note

•  The ultrasonic sensor short-cord is integrated with the license plate light short cord.

•  For the ultrasonic sensor short-cord inspection, refer to LICENSE PLATE LIGHT SHORT-CORD INSPECTION. (See LICENSE PLATE LIGHT SHORT-CORD INSPECTION.)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear splash shield (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See REAR BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Ultrasonic sensor short-cord (See ULTRASONIC SENSOR SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the ultrasonic sensor short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the ultrasonic sensor short-cord. (See ULTRASONIC SENSOR SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
