•  The blind spot monitoring (BSM) warning lights alert the driver to the presence of a vehicle approaching from behind.

•  If an approaching vehicle enters the blind spot monitoring (BSM) system alert area or a vehicle will reach the front end of the alert area within 5.5 s, the blind spot monitoring (BSM) warning light turns on, and if a turn switch signal is received on the side where the approaching vehicle exists, the warning light flashes.

•  The blind spot monitoring (BSM) warning lights flash in the pattern shown in the figure.
