PCM temperature sensor circuit high input

DETECTION CONDITION

• The PCM monitors the PCM temperature sensor (integrated the PCM) signal. If the PCM detects that the PCM temperature sensor voltage is 4.98 V or more, the PCM determines that the PCM temperature sensor has a malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
• This is continuous monitor (other).
• The MIL does not illuminate.
• The PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunctioning conditions during the first drive cycle.
• The FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
• The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
• Perform the DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE.
• Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Replace PCM, then go to the next step.
No
Intermittent concern exists. Go to the INTERMITTENT CONCERN TROUBLESHOOTING procedure.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P0669 COMPLETED
• Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors.
• Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Engine off).
• Clear the DTC from the PCM memory using the WDS or equivalent.
• Perform the KOEO/KOER SELF-TEST.
• Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Replace the PCM, then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
• Perform the "AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE".
• Are any DTCs present?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See DTC TABLE.)
No
Troubleshooting completed.
