Function

• Detects the intake air pressure inside the intake manifold in order to monitor EGR system operation.

Structure

• Installed on the intake manifold.

Operation

• A piezoelectric element is enclosed in the sensor and the electric potential difference changes as the MAP decreases. The output voltage decreases as the MAP decreases.
