1.  Remove the splash shield (RH).

2.  Detach the wiring harness clip shown in the figure and set the wiring harness out of the way.

3.  Rotate the drive belt auto tensioner clockwise using the SST or commercially available vise grip as shown in the figure until the pin hole on the auto tensioner body appears.

Note

•  Make sure the SST or commercially available vise grip is securely set so that the SST or commercially available vise grip will not be slip off the auto tensioner projection during securing process.

4.  Insert the SST into the pin hole on the auto tensioner body.

5.  Remove the drive belt.

6.  Install the drive belt.

7.  Remove the SST.

8.  Install the splash shield (RH).
