VACUUM PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6]

1.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6].)

2.  Disconnect the vacuum hose in the order shown in the figure.

3.  Disconnect the vacuum tubes.

4.  Set the vacuum tubes out of the way.

5.  Remove the bolts.

6.  Remove the vacuum pump.

7.  Remove the o-ring.

8.  Install the new o-ring.

9.  Install the vacuum pump.

10.  Install the vacuum tubes.

11.  Insert the vacuum hose to the vacuum pump.

12.  Verify that the vacuum hose is firmly installed by pulling it, and push it into the vacuum pump again.

13.  Install the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6].)
