INPUT/TURBINE SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [DJVA-EL]

1.  Remove the input/turbine speed sensor.

(1)  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

(2)  Disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.

(3)  Remove the input/turbine speed sensor.

(4)  Remove the O-ring

2.  Install in the input/turbine speed sensor.

(1)  Coat a new O-ring with CVT fluid, and install it to the input/turbine speed sensor.

(2)  After verifying the sensor condition, install the input/turbine speed sensor using a new bolt.

Caution

•  Use a new bolt because a sealed bolt is used.

Tightening torque

Bolt applied with green sealant: 3.9—6.9 N·m {40—70 kgf·cm, 35—61 in·lbf}

Bolt applied with white sealant: 3.3—5.5 N·m {34—56 kgf·cm, 30—48 in·lbf}

3.  Connect the negative battery cable.
