• The supercharger clutch is switched on/off according to the engine operation conditions to achieve optimum boost pressure.

Operation
• The PCM determines the supercharger clutch on/off status according to the engine operation conditions. The supercharger clutch on/off is controlled by the supercharger clutch duty signal sent.

― Acceleration request from accelerator pedal is specified value or more
― Engine speed is specified value or more
― Supercharger temperature is less than specified value
― Sport mode
Supercharger clutch off request

― Ignition is switched OFF
― Right after engine start
― During i-stop control
― Idling state
