Purpose/Function
• Detects the fuel pressure in the fuel distributor as basic information for mainly determining the fuel injection amount.
• Detects the fuel pressure in the fuel distributor and sends it to the PCM as a high fuel pressure signal.
Construction
• The high fuel pressure sensor is located on the fuel distributor.
• A semiconductor strain gauge has been adopted for the detection area of the high fuel pressure sensor.
Operation
• The high fuel pressure sensor sends the detected fuel pressure to the PCM as a high fuel pressure signal.
