Purpose/Function

•  Detects the fresh-air duct valve open/closed condition and inputs it to the PCM as the fresh-air duct valve opening angle signal.

Construction

•  The fresh-air duct position sensor is installed to the fresh-air duct.

•  A Hall element has been adopted to the detection area of the fresh-air duct position sensor.

Operation

•  The fresh-air duct position sensor sends a signal which fluctuates according to the fresh-air duct valve to the PCM via LIN communication.
