GPF PRESSURE SENSOR [SKYACTIV-X 2.0]
id0140hf261100
Purpose/Function
• Detects the difference in pressure between the exhaust gas pressures before and after passing the gasoline particulate filter as basic information for mainly gasoline particulate filter regeneration control.
• Detects the difference in pressure between the exhaust gas pressures before and after passing the gasoline particulate filter, and inputs it to the PCM as a pressure difference before and after gasoline particulate filter signal.
Construction
• The GPF pressure sensor is located on the catalytic converter.
• A semiconductor strain gauge has been adopted to the detection area of the GPF pressure sensor.
Operation
• The signal, which fluctuates according to the gasoline particulate filter pressure, is sent to the PCM.
