•  Calculates the engine oil replacement period as an appropriate target period for replacing the engine oil.

•  The PCM computes the following items to calculate the engine oil replacement period, and it determines that the engine oil replacement period has been reached when any of the items exceeds their specifications.

•  When the PCM determines that the engine oil replacement period has been reached, it sends a wrench indication/wrench indicator light on request signal to the instrument cluster and the connectivity master unit (CMU).

•  The PCM can reset the recorded traveled distance/elapsed days/engine oil deterioration condition by performing the engine oil data reset.
