FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER DISPOSAL

Warning
•  Whenever drilling into a front shock absorber, always wear protective eye wear as the gas in the shock absorber is pressurized and could spray metal filings into the eyes.

1.  Set the front shock absorber horizontally or with the piston pointed downward.

2.  Drill a 2—3 mm {0.08—0.11 in} hole at point A shown in the figure and exhaust the gas.

Point A: 170 mm {6.69 in}

3.  Point the hole drilled in Step 2 downward, pump the piston rod up and down several times, and drain the oil.

4.  Cut off the bottom of the front shock absorber.

5.  Dispose of the drained oil according to local waste disposal laws.
