Purpose/Function

• The ABS wheel-speed sensor detects and transmits the rotation condition of each wheel to the electronically controlled brake unit.

• The signal from the ABS wheel-speed sensors is the primary signal for electronically controlled brake unit control.

Construction/Operation

• The construction and operation of the ABS wheel-speed sensor is the same as that of vehicles with DSC system.
