MAGNETIC CLUTCH INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)])

2.  Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector. (See MAGNETIC CLUTCH DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

3.  Connect battery to terminal A of magnetic clutch and ground to A/C compressor body.

4.  Verify that the magnetic clutch operates.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the magnetic clutch. (See MAGNETIC CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)
