HEATER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0]

L.H.D.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Engine cover (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

(2)  Rear wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

(3)  Battery (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

(4)  Battery tray (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

4.  Remove the heater hose.

5.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

6.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

R.H.D.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(3)  Battery (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

(4)  Battery tray (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)

4.  Remove the heater hose.

5.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

6.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-X 2.0].)
