Detection condition
•  The auto leveling control module received a signal which indicates the body control module (BCM) configuration is not performed.
Fail-safe
•  The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.

Note
•  To correctly write the configuration data sent from the body control module (BCM) to the auto leveling control module, 30 s or more have to be elapsed since the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on).
•  Body control module (BCM) configuration is not completed.
•  Body control module (BCM) malfunction
•  Auto leveling control module malfunction

VERIFY ALL SYSTEM DTCs
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.
•  Perform a CMDTC self-test using the M-MDS.
•  Are there any modules other than the auto leveling control module displaying DTC U2300:55?
Yes
Perform the body control module (BCM) configuration, then go to the next step.
No
Go to repair completion verification 1.

VERIFY ALL SYSTEM DTCs AGAIN
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.
•  Perform a CMDTC self-test using the M-MDS.
•  Are there any modules other than the auto leveling control module displaying DTC U2300:55?
Yes
Replace the body control module (BCM) and perform the repair completion verification.
No
Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 1
VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
•  Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the auto leveling control module.
•  Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction recurs, replace the auto leveling control module, then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 2
VERIFY IF OTHER DTC IS DISPLAYED
•  Perform the DTC inspection.
•  Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
