FUEL-FILLER LID LOCK ACTUATOR

Purpose

• Performs lock/unlock switching of the fuel-filler lid electrically based on the signal from the electrical supply unit (ESU).

Functions

Lock function

• The fuel-filler lid lock actuator operates the built-in motor in the lock direction to lock the fuel-filler lid.

Unlock function

• The fuel-filler lid lock actuator operates the built-in motor in the unlock direction to unlock the fuel-filler lid.

Fuel-filler lid lock actuator manual release procedure function

• The fuel-filler lid can be unlocked manually. Refer to the [FUEL-FILLER LID LOCK ACTUATOR MANUAL RELEASE PROCEDURE] in the workshop manual for details.

Construction

• The fuel-filler lid lock actuator has a built-in motor, and the link installed to the motor moves in the lock/unlock direction in conjunction with the motor rotation.

• The rib is moved by moving the link installed to the motor.

Operation

Lock operation

1. The fuel-filler lid lock actuator rotates the built-in motor to the lock side.

2. When the motor rotates to the lock side, the lifter pin rotates in the direction of shown in the figure below.

Unlock operation

1. The fuel-filler lid lock actuator rotates the built-in motor to the unlock side.

2. When the motor rotates to the unlock side, the lifter pin rotates in the direction of shown in the figure below.

3. When push the fuel-filler lid in the direction of shown in the figure below, the lifter pin moves in the direction to open the fuel-filler lid.
