Note

•  The integrity of the keyless beeper cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the keyless beeper, perform the following procedure.

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Perform the DTC inspection for the BCM. (See DTC INSPECTION.)

•  If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.(See DTC TABLE [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) (E)].)

•  If DTCs are not detected, go to the next step.

3.  Using the body control module (BCM) simulation KEY_BUZZER, verity that the keyless beeper sounds. (See ACTIVE COMMAND MODES TABLE [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)].)

•  If the keyless beeper does not sound, replace the keyless beeper. (See KEYLESS BEEPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
