Purpose

•  The trunk compartment light illuminates the trunk compartment interior when the trunk lid is opened.

Function

•  When the trunk lid is opened, illuminates by the trunk compartment light switch turning on.

Construction

•  The trunk compartment light is positioned on the body panel in the upper part of the trunk.

Operation

1.  When the trunk lid is opened, the electrical supply unit (ESU) detects (1) a trunk lid latch switch on signal.

2.  When the electrical supply unit (ESU) detects (1) the trunk lid latch switch on signal, it turns the trunk compartment light on (2).
