Installation Procedure

1.  When installing new parts, measure and adjust the body as necessary to conform with standard dimensions.

2.  Before installing the new part, drill holes for plug welding in the 4 locations in area B.

3.  After temporarily installing new parts, make sure the related parts fit properly.

4.  Continuous arc welds the 7 locations in area A shown in the figure.

Note

•  Secure the flange area using a hand vise so as not to open a gap in the welded area, and perform the welding work with the weld area clamped.

5.  Plug welds in the 4 locations in area B shown in the figure from the front side frame (inner).

6.  Arc spot welds in the 5 locations in area C shown in the figure.

7.  Plug welds in the 2 locations in area D shown in the figure and install the bumper bracket.
