Unit communication error (HS-CAN)

Detection condition

•  The adaptive LED headlights control module detected CAN BUS communication line (HS-CAN) malfunction 10 times continuously.

Fail-safe

•  Perform the following controls with the adaptive LED headlights turned on.

―  Turn off glare-free high beam.

―  Set wide-range low beam as basic light distribution.

•  The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.

Possible cause

•  Malfunction in CAN BUS communication line
