Detection condition
•  The 360°view monitor control module detects a 360°view monitor control module internal malfunction.
Fail-safe
Possible cause
•  360°view monitor control module malfunction
•  Front camera malfunction
•  Side camera (LH) malfunction
•  Side camera (RH) malfunction
•  Rear mount camera malfunction
•  Short to ground in any of the following circuits.
―  Front camera circuit
―  Side camera (LH) circuit
―  Side camera (RH) circuit
―  Rear mount camera circuit
•  Short to power supply in any of the following circuits.
―  Front camera circuit
―  Side camera (LH) circuit
―  Side camera (RH) circuit
―  Rear mount camera circuit
•  Open circuit in the any of the following circuits.
―  Front camera circuit
―  Side camera (LH) circuit
―  Side camera (RH) circuit
―  Rear mount camera circuit

INSPECT FOR OTHER RELATED DTCs
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the 360°view monitor control module.
•  Are any of the following DTCs displayed?

―  B12BD:02
―  B12C0:01
―  B12C0:02
―  B12C1:01
―  B12C1:02
―  B148E:01
―  B148E:02
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT 360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE FOR MALFUNCTION
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the 360°view monitor control module.
•  Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, replace the 360°view monitor control module and perform the repair completion verification.
No
Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification
VERIFY IF OTHER DTC IS DISPLAYED
•  Perform the DTC inspection.
•  Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
