Description
|
• False detection/incorrect display of the traffic sign while the vehicle is being driven.
• The traffic sign indicated on the active driving display or instrument cluster is not updated.

• Speed limit information from SD card is incorrect
• Connectivity master unit (CMU) malfunction
• BCM malfunction
• Active driving display malfunction
• Instrument cluster malfunction
• Forward sensing camera (FSC) malfunction
• Forward sensing camera (FSC) optical axis deviation

VERIFY ALL SYSTEM DTCs
• Perform the DTC inspection.
(See DTC INSPECTION.)
• Are any DTCs displayed?

Yes

Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

No
|
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF SD CARD IS VALID
• Perform diagnostic assist function “Storage Diagnostic Test” MAP Areas.
(Refer to the [DIAGNOSTIC ASSIST FUNCTION] in the workshop manual)
• Is the part normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Explain to the customer that the SD card is not valid.
|

Repair completion verification
|
VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
• Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
• Has the malfunction symptom been eliminated?

Yes
|
Complete the symptom troubleshooting. (Explain contents of repair to customer)
|
No
|
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
• If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the forward sensing camera (FSC).
